The RIX Optics Quick Detach (QD) mount is a tool-free, return-to-zero weapon mount designed for RIX thermal and night vision scopes (such as the Storm and Leap series). It clamps directly onto standard Picatinny or Weaver rails using a secure locking lever mechanism.

Features a 30 mm tube/ring size with a 2-inch cantilever extension, built from precision-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with dual throw-levers and an Auto-Lock system for Picatinny or Weaver rails.

Diameter Size: 30 mm standard rings (fits traditional 30 mm scope-style thermal bodies like the Leap L3, L6, and L12 series)

Cantilever Setback: Approx. 2 inches of forward throw to optimize eye relief

Tool-Free Operation: Fast attachment and removal via a locking latch and throw-lever system.

Return-to-Zero: Engineered to hold zero reliably when removed and reattached to the same rail slot.

Basic Installation Tips

• Slide the mount forward on your Picatinny rail before locking the lever to remove slack.
• Check and torque all ring and base screws (typically 15 to 18 inch-pounds) with an appropriate tool during initial setup.
• Always confirm your point of impact after reattaching any quick-detach optic system.
